Looking to become a homeowner? Here’s some first steps you can take:
Talk to a lender & get a pre-approval letter. Let them help you figure out how much home you can afford. Nothing like shopping only to find out you’re over budget! Get your numbers first to avoid disappointment later.
Once you’ve determined your budget, research areas you’re interested in. What’s most important to you? Location, proximity to work, views, school district, home features, etc. Make a list of your top 5 priorities and a separate list of “nice to haves”.

Be patient. I know, I know…it’s hard but real estate takes time. HGTV makes it look like 1 signature in a coffee shop but that couldn’t be further from reality. Between locating the property, negotiations, and escrow- it’s gunna be a minute so sit tight & trust your realtor to take care of you.
